3:2:1 brownies.

So Sundays are always fun for DIY-ing! We tried a new fun recipe tonight, called the 3:2:1 brownie. Basically it is an easy and fun way of making a quick individual sized brownie. We put ours in some jars.

This is how it works::
3 tbsp. of brownie mix +
2 tbsp. of water +
1 minute (or less) in the microwave =
a bit of happiness.

the canadian adventure is surely treating me well. 

we had a great day in Banff. we went dog sledding!

 boy, was it fun! my brothers and i got to take control and have a dog sled all to ourself.

 we learned it is a lot harder than it looks, and that we are total babies when it comes to the cold. 

the dogs did the majority of the work, yet we still struggled a bit.

 ty tipped the sled (with me and tate zipped up inside) completely over-- 

and tate and i went head first into the powdery snow.

 we laughed it off well, and it is still making me smile.

 finally we hit up the hot springs, in the 9 degree weather.

i think we can consider today- a complete success.

i love having a white christmas,

today was a rainy day in vegas.

those are pretty hard to come by in this dry desert.

but for some reason the rain is rather magical here.

i just love it.

makes me wish i was with a cute boy.

too bad he's in texas. 

but a day with my mom worked out to be just as wonderful.

nothing is better than movies by the fireplace and snuggles with the kitten.

finishing the night with her famous corn chowder, and a Skype date.

does it get any better?

as the semester comes to a close,

the holidays are drawing near!

so im feeling a bit melancholy.

sad to be leaving my new friends behind,

but excited for christmas with my family.
